Please read a few of our highlights from September and October. As always there are too many to mention so I had to select a few news nuggets! We can only witness of God’s goodness and love! This scripture from 2 Timothy really has so much meaning for those of us who are involved in children’s ministry. Although we may not me be in prison like Paul, we can identify with the challenges that go hand in hand with serving: “Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began” II Timothy 1:6-9 NKJV   Using this scripture, please pray with us for every person involved with HEY!

• That each one shall know they are called by God and that He will comfort them
• That no fear exists BUT only …. POWER, LOVE and a SOUND MIND
• That each one will share the Gospel SHAMELESSLY and CONFIDENTLY
• By the grace and strength of Jesus, each one will persevere!

Julie en Augustus was weereens besige maande met BAIE nuus waarvan ons in die briefie maar net ‘n paar brokkies kan deel.

Ons waardeer elke gebed, donasie, bemoediging en belangstelling opreg. Aan elkeen wie sy of haar tyd gee om ‘n Bybelklas namens HEY! aan te bied wil ons sê: jou tyd, liefde en opoffering word waardeer. Wees verseker dat jy ‘n ongelooflike belangrike werk doen en help om saad te saai in kinderharte. Jy is besig met Koningkryks werk!

By ‘n opleidingsgeleentheid deur Hein Reyneke van SCAS Vrydag het hy die pragtige verse uit Psalm 139 gedeel om te toon hoe lief God vir ons is en ek hoop dat jy ook opnuut tot die besef sal kom van Sy ontsaglike groot liefde vir jou! Leef met daardie besef elke dag: psalm 139:17: “Kosbaar is u gedagtes vir my,o God! Hoe onmeetlik is die totaal! 18As ek dit sou moes tel, sou hulle meer wees as sandkorrels!”  of dan in Engels Psalm 139:17“How precious are your thoughts about me,[b] O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!”

Lees gerus van ‘n paar hoogtepunte gedurende September en Oktober. Soos altyd te veel om te noem en ek moes maar selektief ‘n paar nuus brokkies uitlig! Ons kan net getuiug van God se goedheid en liefde!

Hierdie Skrif in 2 Timoteus het regtig soveel betekenis vir ons wie in die kinder bediening staan en hoewel ons nie in die tronk is soos Paulus nie kan ons identifiseer met die uitdagings wat gepaardgaan met bediening:

• Dat geen vrees sal bestaan nie MAAR….KRAG, LIEFDE en SELFBEHEERSING
• Dat elkeen skaamteloos en vol vertoue die Evangelie sal verkondig
• Deur Jesus se krag en genade sal elkeen kan volhard!

Uit die diepte van ons harte dankie vir jou ondersteuning, gebede, liefde en bemoediging, ons waardeer dit soveel!

July and August were once again very busy with LOTS of news and this NEWS NUGGETS letter actually only serves to give you a summary of what has been happening.

We sincerely appreciate every prayer, donation, encouragement and interest shown in us. To each one who gives his or her time to present a Bible class on behalf of HEY! we want to say a big thank you for your time, love and sacrifice. Be sure that this is a very important task and you help sowing seed in children’s hearts. You are busy with Kingdom expansion!

At a training opportunity by Hein Reyneke from SCAS on Friday he shared these beautiful verses from Psalm 139 to show how much God loves us and I hope that you would also realise how big His love for you is and live in that knowledge every day! Psalm 139:17“How precious are your thoughts about me,[b] O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!”
