Goeiedag!

Aangeheg is die 1ste kwartaal se Brokkies nuus. Soveel mense vra waar presies ons  bedien en daarom die tabel wat alle plekke en getalle presies aandui. Dit maak ‘n groot deel van die nuusbrief uit en gevolglik is daar nie genoeg plek vir alle nuus in die briefie nie. Ek wil graag net die 2 punte byvoeg:

• Aanhou wen in Somerset Wes is die eerste van ons HEY! HELP! inisiatiewe en hier word met gestremdes gewerk. Ons wil ‘n nouer pad met hulle stap. Baie van die lede kom uit agtergeblewe omstandighede. Dis ‘n absolute “blessing” om hier te kan bedien en hulle is so ontvanklik!
• Die gebeds container by Danie Ackermann gaan die “House of Hope” genoem word en vorder flink en ons beoog om dit vanaf die 2de kwartaal in werking te stel as ware gebedshuis!

2017 het begin met nuwe geleenthede, ‘n tekort aan mense om te help en ander uitdagings maar ons het in geloof alles aan ons Hemelse Vader oorgegee en Hom vertrou vir uitkomste. God is so getrou! Ek deel graag hierdie aanhalings van Reinhard Bonnke m.b.t. geloof as inspirasie vir elk van ons:  “Faith is a kind of immune system filtering out fears that otherwise would paralyze all activity. Faith is a leap into the light, not a step into the darkness”  Stap vreesloos in geloof elke dag. 

Mag jy en jou geliefdes ‘n geseënde Paasfees ervaar en jy in die tyd intens bewus wees van Jesus se groot genade en liefde vir jou!

Attached please find the 1^st term’s HEY! News Nuggets. So many people ask us where exactly we serve and therefore the table indicate exactly all places and numbers. It takes up a lot of space in this newsletter, and consequently there is not enough room for all news in the letter. I would therefore like to add two points:

• Aanhou wen in Somerset West is the first of our HEY! HELP! initiatives and we work here with the disabled. We want to work closer with them in future. Many of the members come from disadvantaged circumstances. It’s an absolute blessing to serve here and they are so receptive!

• The prayer container at Danie Ackermann is making good progress and is going to be called the “House of Hope” We intend to implement it as a real house of prayer from April when schools reopen!

2017 began with new opportunities, a lack of people to help, and other challenges but we gave everything in faith to our Heavenly Father and trusted Him for outcomes. God is so faithful! I share these quotes by Reinhard Bonnke regarding faith as inspiration for each of us: “Faith is a kind of immune system filtering out fears that otherwise would paralyze all activity. Faith is a leap into the light, not a step into the darkness”  Walk fearlessly in faith every day.

May you and your loved ones experience a blessed Easter and  may you be intensely aware of Jesus’ grace and love for you!
