Cape Town 1st Term News Nuggets

Please read our first “News Nuggets” in English thanks to Charlene Raubenheimer who has been helping HEY! with various translation projects from English to Afrikaans and now the “Brokkies Nuus” from Afrikaans to English! We are so thankful to her.

I have realised that we are in the business of “sowing” and, as a result, we daily sow seeds in the lives of our children!

2 Cor 9:10  “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness” therefore, we are so thankful to the Lord who supplies the seed for HEY!

There have been many seeds sown in the ground this term and we ask that you pray alongside us for the harvest that Jesus will deliver.  Naturally, with the sowing of the seed comes the sowers of the seed. Once again, we can attest to a tremendous team of men and women who not only love the Lord but also love children and who continue to give of their time and their love in ministering to the children and spreading the Good News of the Jesus!

In last Fridays training, Hein of SCAS quoted this scripture from Colossians 4:2-4 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should”. I ask that you also pray this scripture for the ministry. Prayer first, then the rest will fall into place! May the message be clearly proclaimed and may it be received in fertile soil!

Thank you for your continued support – it is greatly appreciated! Please remember to visit our Facebook page and “Like” it, there you will find weekly updates and photographs of the classes we minister to!https://www.facebook.com/HopeExplosionYouthMinistries
